“I’d like to work with Wizkid…” – Asa

Image
Nigerian soul singer, Asa,  who is recently trending for admitting she is a late bloomer has revealed that she would like to work with Afrobeat Starboy, Wizkid. This good news was revealed in an interview with Funmi Iyanda where the veteran TV host asked her about her thought to Wizkid’s wish to collaborate with her as the idea has not been well received by fans who thought Wizkid and Asa wouldn’t be a good combination. Asa has expressed her thought on the idea of a collaboration with Wizkid, stating that she would love to as she thinks Wizkid is a good artiste. She said; He’s a sweet guy and it was sweet of him to say that. I felt bad, I felt ‘oh my God’ I hope he doesn’t feel bad’, I hope he doesn’t think I incited it or I wouldn’t want to work with him, I’ll really like to work with him. I think he’s interesting, I think it’ll be a nice collaboration if we do it. I’ll love to see Wizkid in another context but being himself, we’ll make something really nice! She also talked

After surprising fans with the artwork and tracklist a few days back; fast-rising RnB and Afro-pop singer Sefiya has released her much-talked-about debut EP titled ‘Antidote’ today, October 25, 2017. Prior to the official release, the singer had dropped two radio-friendly singles off the EP; ‘Motivation’ and ‘Some More’ – which she described as an appetizer for the full body of work. The EP contains five tracks; including a guest appearance from popular dancehall sensation Mr. 2kay on the third track; titled ‘Mama’ – with production credits going to some of the industry’s most laudable music producers, including Mystro, Benie Macaulay, WE Beat, Dams and Phantom. ‘Antidote’s visually appealing artwork shows Sefiya in a rather alluring pose with an enigmatic countenance that can only be described as aesthetically pleasing – while the back cover shows the singer donning a tank top and tracksuit bottoms. Sefiya has been described as one of the promising acts of the industry in re

“I wouldn’t have collaborated with Humblesmith if I didn’t fall out with my Baby mama’s father…” – Davido

Omo Baba Olowo as he is popularly referred to is back to not just his music, but revealing things in an interview. In a recent interview, the award-winning IF crooner revealed that his collaboration with Nigerian artiste, HumbleSmith was to get back at his Babymama’s father since they had been bad blood going on between both families at that time. This response was given when asked what inspired his collaborations. To Davido, there’s nothing spectacular about who he collaborates with, it sometimes just feels right and other times it is more or less being at the right place at the right time or the events going on at that time. With Humblesmith’s Osinachi, Davido felt right to use it to respond to his Baby Mama’s father, Dele Momodu, who was in one way or the other involved in the custody battle and Davido’s relationship with his daughter, Sophia. The internet is heating up with such a response because they feel Davido is trying to wake a sleeping dog, but what are your though

Image
Many weird cultures happen around the world. From baby throwing to living with dead bodies, below is a list of jaw-dropping cultures from around the globe. 1. Walking Dead The Toraja people of Indonesia practice this absurd culture of putting a body in a temporary coffin before resurrecting 'it'. In villages located in the mountains of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, Shamans have been raising the dead for centuries. According to the religious beliefs of the Toraja people, in order for a deceased person to reach the afterlife known as “Puya” or “The Land of Souls”, their corpse must be returned to the place of their birth for burial. The corpse is raised from the dead and walks to its new resting place. 2. El Colacho Baby Jumping The residents of Spain have been taking part in this dangerous and weird culture called El Colacho since 1620. El Colacho means baby jumping and is organized to keep the Devils away. In this festival, infants are laid on the mattresses in the

Why most Nigerians are against it

Image
A lady on her birthday decided to show off her birthday suit. She posted the photo on her social media page. In Nigeria, it is not every day that a young lady posts her modest body for all to see. The story got picked up by sites and blogs. What came next was pretty much predictable. Cue the negative comments, holy outrage and condemnation. You pretty much know how it goes. Nigeria is a prudish country when it comes to sex and nudity. For every young Nigerian who watches and listens to shows on sex and sexuality, there are a least dozen Nigerians who tow the conservative line. Why are Nigerians so against nudity? The country is deeply religious, cut across Christian and Muslim religions. Both faiths which are mainstream frown on nudity and sex. Also, adding that Nigeria is a very cultural country. Even though Nigeria is made up of a hundred tribes, most of them have one or two things in common like nudity in public spaces. So even with the rise of social media, you don't

The drama about sex, husband snatching and short men

Anyone who says Abuja is a dry city surely doesn't know what he is talking about. Last night, October 10, 2017, was a pure rave on Twitter NG. Two big gals from the Abuja Twitter chapter revealed their supposed dirty laundry in public. And oh my, it was it stinking. The lead actresses, former friends turned sworn enemies, are Irose and Olivia. You can call it the clash of the Amazons. As any good tale, we must go to the beginning of the drama. On September 13, 2017, Olivia a.k.a @TheOllieMead on Twitter jumped on the bandwagon and bashed short men. Four days later, @TheOllieMead continued her love for tall men in her tweets. She dissed the short Kevin Hart for cheating on his wife. Social media never forgets and her tweets were put together alongside a picture of her with her husband who is...yeah you guessed right, not too tall. Somewhere in Olivia's public dragging, a sub was dropped for her by Irose, her former friend. @TheOllieMead caught the sub and the battle

Night time on this street is sex, suya and strip clubs

There are no records on the history of Allen Avenue, Ikeja. There is no record on who commissioned the road and in what year. What we know about Allen Avenue is what everyone one knows- it is one of the most famous roads in Lagos city. Located in the city’s capital Ikeja, Allen Avenue is a commercial strip of coal tar. There are 20 bank branches on Allen Avenue. During the day, you can find men on both sides of the avenue trying to coerce you to convert your foreign currency into Naira or vice-versa. Allen Avenue is choked with boutiques, shops, companies and fast food joints. It is business non-stop. The first time I heard about Allen Avenue was in 1996 when trendsetting rapper Weird MC dropped her single ‘Allen Avenue’. The song made the avenue a Nigerian pop culture hallmark. Pyramid Nightclub owned by actress Ibinabo Fiberesima was situated on Allen Avenue. As a grew older I learnt of Allen Avenue’s darker and seedier reputation. When the sun went down and the sky became d

How I was Banged by 3 Hot Guys - Young Lady Shares Erotic Story

Image
I love having s*x, and I had been having lots of fun with the usual, normal, one-on-one s*x. The day of my first gangbang started like any other day. At that time, I was still enjoying my nightly freakiness with my favourite uncle, but I still enjoyed some bit of fun from younger, more virile guys. Korede was kind of like my f*ck buddy. He was so convenient because he lived really close to my house. A few short walk and I am in his apartment, ready to get f*cked silly by him. One Friday, after classes, I went to visit him on my way home. I was a little surprised to see he had guests. Three of his friends were hanging out with him, playing video games. I had met two of them before, Banky and Abbey, but the third was unfamiliar. Korede introduced him to me as Jason. I said hello to them and then went upstairs to hang out in Korede’s room since I did not really want to intrude on the guys’ time. Korede came up to join me after a few minutes. “Hey, why don’t you come down an
