A video (which we cannot display here for its graphic content) has caused a stir on the internet. The video, which has gotten people talking, shows a woman who is probably mentally disturbed, acting in a very bad way in front of passengers in a bus. The woman was seen as she actually pulled down her pants and began to masturbate right there for all the other passengers to see. The baffling incident reportedly occured in a Philadelphia public bus this past weekend and has sparked some investigation into the matter. The video showed the unidentified woman as she started touching her private parts in front of horrified passengers who filmed some of it and shared online. The accounts section of the Ebonyi Government House was on Friday gutted by fire which disrupted activities within the complex. Vanguard reports that no life was reported lost in the fire which started around 9 a.m. Dr Kenneth Ugbala, Senior Special Assistant to Gov. David Umahi on Internal Security, told newsmen that it took the combined efforts of workers and the State Fire Service to put out the fire. “The fire outbreak was caused by a faulty electrical connection within the accounts section and the level of damage was minimal. “An upholstery and cottons within the section were completely burnt and we would ascertain the true extent of damage when the fire service concludes its task,’’ he said. On Sunday, Nigerians learnt of an explosive report the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission forwarded to President Muhammadu Buhari about alleged corrupt practices by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki. NNPC Cautions on Phantom Recruitment exercise The Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has raised the alarm on the existence of some dubious syndicates with specialty in extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public under the pretext of a purported recruitment exercise and promise of phantom job placements in the Corporation. The Corporation in a release by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Ndu Ughmadu, said the NNPC at this time is not conducting any recruitment exercise noting that the Corporation would advertise vacant positions whenever it has need to embark on a recruitment exercise. The Senate on Thursday, approved electronic voting in the 2019 general elections and other future elections, The Nation reports. It also empowered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to deploy the card reader device for voter accreditation. The Senate also addressed confusion that could from sudden death of candidate of a political party before conclusion of election. Political party of such a dead candidate is mandated to conduct fresh primary election to elect a new candidate within 14 days, while the INEC is given 21 days to conclude the election with the transfer of votes of the deceased candidate to the new one.
